Liz: {off panel} Did you guys get fireworks?
Greg: {annoyed} Pfeh. No.
Tony: Turns out fireworks are illegal in most of the Bay area.
- Panel 2
{Scene change. Tony and Greg are stood facing Liz, whom is lying down on the couch looking at Greg.}
Liz: Even the "safe and sane" ones?
Tony: Any fireworks. I'd have to drive to Livermore to buy them.

Liz: What's the penalty for setting them off here?
Greg: Something like a hundred-dollar fine, I think.

{Greg looks at Tony.}
Tony: Worth it?
Greg: Worth it.
Liz: Totally' worth it.

- This comic could be seen in contrast to Crystal's attitude on fireworks, who did not like the use of them at all, while Liz encourages it, even if there is a fine.
